So often when I go up to Snowbowl, the ski mountain just outside Missoula I see the valley floor socked in. It seems that one would only have to hike the M to get above the fog, and into what usually is blue sky and a sunny day. Most of the people in town (including me when I'm there) think that it's a cloudy, foggy day, but we don't realize that a sunny day awaits us 100 feet above our heads. Yellowstone Park Pictures

We just got back from a fun weekend going down to Yellowstone National Park after a friend's wedding Chico Hot Springs. It was great to take my Swiss visitor, Flavio, down to check it out. We were only down there for two nights, but it was enough time to get to take the loop around the park, hike a couple times, see some unique geo-thermic action, and have an overall fun time.

Love Your Mother Earth Festival

I went to the Love Your Mother Earth Festival to host an Ashtanga Yoga workshop and to perform Fire Staff & Fire Spitting with the Fireflys Troop this last weekend and had a great time camping up in the woods around Lolo Hot Springs. The LYMEF is basically a 3 day concert and camping festival. Here are a couple pictures that I took while I was hiking around.

Himalayan Range

Life Goal:Check. After hiking to the amazing spiritual pilgrimage spot of Surkanda Devi, we were blessed with clear blue sky showing us a massive Himalayan Range that was utterly breathtaking. Seeing these mountains was the 2nd most important thing to do in my trip to India, after studying yoga of course.
